Still I went near you

I saw the thorns, I saw them
And knew they would thrust deep into my heart
Still I went near You
Still I dared to touch

I longed for the delicious fruit
That was hidden so deep inside
And closed my eyes and bared my throat
Regardless of the pain

I will never regret to have tasted them
I will never regret to have tasted You
It was worth all the pain
And it always will be

About blue

I am a divorced single mum to a teenage kid, and at present re-emigrating to my homecountry Germany. Writing helps me to clear my thoughts, but as well to turn sadness, fear, and regret into something beautiful and release it from my heart.
