Don’t pass me by

Don’t pass me by, see me
See the hunger in my eyes

See the passion that once was in me
In the days of my youthful skies

The lithe willow that I once was,
The agile young man you were

We would have danced all through the night
Would I have met you there

This poem is part of my ‘project’, here:

About blue

I am a divorced single mum to a teenage kid, and at present re-emigrating to my homecountry Germany. Writing helps me to clear my thoughts, but as well to turn sadness, fear, and regret into something beautiful and release it from my heart.
